Its texture is thicker than regular yogurt, which makes it an ideal smoothie thickener as well as a great substitute for sour cream and crème fraiche for baking, cooking or making dips and sauces.

TIPS: Using semi-frozen berries or frozen coffee cubes instead of ice in smoothies does not dilute your drink and keeps it a little thicker and more smoothie-like.

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 large ripe banana (cut into chunks and frozen)
  • 100g raspberry Elle & Vire Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup 100% cranberry juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons agave (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Combine strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, banana, Greek yogurt, agave (if using) and 1 cup ice (optional) and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

  • 1 cup ice
